Beauty Shop was co-produced and co- curated by The Dancing Tree and Aviatrix Dance Theater. Premiering in July of 2002 at Noh Space in San Francisco, Beauty Shop explored themes of sexuality and beauty through performance and film. Faux Queen , Anita Cocktail, hosted the event that featured13 bay area artists along with a special appearance by the Wry Crips performance group.
